Worldwide, there are 21 million women forced into prostitution. Did you know that there were 250,000 sex-trafficked children (forced slaves) in Brazil, who were “groomed” for the World Cup? There are at least two million children used as prostitutes each year. The victims on average are between the ages of 12 and 14, although some can be as young as nine. Did you know that pornography directly or indirectly supports sex trafficking, destroys marriages, distorts men’s reality on love and sex, and leads to inappropriate addictive sexual behavior? Pornography is the gateway for men and prostitute encounters.
They forced me to sleep with as many as 50 customers a day. I had to give [the pimp] all my money. If I did not [earn a set amount] they punished me by removing my clothes and beating me with a stick until I fainted, electrocuting me, cutting me.

We can agree that all of the above is unacceptable, right? Then we can also agree that the moral compass for the world has to change. There is only one real change that will affect the entire world. People have to turn back toward God. As people, we often place our trust in temporal things that are fleeting in time and do not have much importance. We pursue money, riches, fame, alcohol, sex, and other empty things, hoping they will make us happy – hoping they will fill a void. These are vain attempts that do not bring long term happiness.
God’s love for us is immense (John 3:16) – we cannot measure it. He gave us this life, with free will, to live out in whatever manor we decide, but His desire is for us to know Him. Even though we do foolish things, and God still pursues us. Romans 5:8 – “But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.”
For those that do not have a personal relationship with God: If you are honest with yourself you know there is a God in Heaven and you know that you have sinned against Him. You know this because of your conscience. The definition of conscience is “with knowledge.” – You have knowledge of right and wrong. You have sinned against the Holy God. He, who is perfect, holy, righteous, loving and just, has sent His Son, Jesus Christ, as a sacrifice for your foolish acts – your sin. You have broken His holy standard and there is a penalty to pay. Romans 6:23 clearly states this penalty, “For the payment of sin is death.” Death is separation from God in hell. “The Lord is not slow about His promise, as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing for any to perish but for all to come to repentance.” Don’t wait until the damage is done and it is too late. Humble yourself and turn towards God. Put your faith in Jesus Christ alone to save you, and become His follower.
